Charlene & Paul {Oregon Central Korean SDA Church}

Charlene and Paul were a last minute booking, we only met four days before their wedding, but wow was I really happy to work with them, they are so much fun!

The two of them set aside a TON of time for location portraits both before and after the wedding. We started early in the day at Washington Park, and concluded at dusk along the Eastbank Esplanade. They didn’t have time for a prior engagement shoot, so they switched out of their formal wedding wear for the night shots. I’m really excited at the sheer amount of variety they will get in their final shots.

It was a pleasure interacting with their guests and family. They were so contentious, asking whether I had gotten food during the reception, even bringing me water as I was doing detail shots before the ceremony. I was honored to be there, and it meant a lot to me knowing they made sure I was doing alright.

Speaking of food, I spied no less than six veteran family cooks going full speed in the church kitchen preparing dinner for everyone. Coming from Hawaii, you know you’re in for something epic with 100+ years of cumulative experience behind the meal. The food spread they prepared was heavenly. Yes, I had time to eat, and it was awesome.

Congrats again Charlene and Paul!
