Brittany and Caleb didn’t originally have an engagement session as part of their package, but I’m so happy they decided to add it, although I think they may have gotten a little more than they bargained for, but only at the cost of beautiful photos! Brittany mentioned that they liked the beach and wooded outdoors, so I thought about the beautiful Ecola State Park near Cannon Beach. Having been a few years since visiting myself, my familiarity of the location had not kept up with the changing terrain. What was once thought to be a fairly passable trail down to the beach, ended up being a nearly washed out mudslide of a hill. Not to be deterred, Brittany kicked off her shoes and charged ahead with Caleb closely behind. The reward was well worth it, as we had the whole beach to ourselves, and just the perfect moment to capture some amazing images. Can’t wait for your wedding this August Brittany and Caleb, we’ll leave the muddy hillsides behind!
