Brianna & Taylor

Brianna and Taylor are an amazing couple and a perfect match for each other. Earlier in the year we captured an engagement session together starting off at Powell’s Books in downtown Portland. Ever since that session I’ve been super excited to cover their wedding.

The event took place at a private residence on top of some rolling hills near our local zoo. They had told me how beautiful the property was during our e-shoot so I was really anxious to work with them around the grounds. Once I finally had the chance to explore the space, I knew this was going to be a special day of capturing images. The yard and ceremony location was full of colorful landscaping and had a view of the valley to die for. There were also amazing art work pieces everywhere. And by amazing, I mean awesome, one of a kind painting and sculptures. You could have not asked for a more perfect setting to hold a ceremony. We also managed to catch a break from our hot Portland Summer as the overcast day dropped the temperature into a comfortable 70’s range. Perfection all the way around!

Once we made things official and announced our bride and groom as Mr. and Mrs., the party was calling and it was time to head over to Tropical Salvage. Did I just type Tropical Salvage as the location for a wedding reception? Who throws a wedding party at a wood salvage warehouse? This awesome couple does. The space was amazing and the reception was hoppin’. Great way to end a wonderful celebration!

Big congrats to Brianna and Taylor for hosting such a great wedding experience for everyone to enjoy. I’m so happy for these two!
