Ben & Karen

If I was building my own little chapel to host weddings, I would probably create something similar to Oaks Pioneer Church. It’s a perfect venue for an intimate ceremony with great indoor and outdoor areas for pictures!

We had an awesome photo plan in place for Karen and Ben’s wedding day celebration. After a beautiful ceremony and some time spent taking pictures with friends and family, we headed over to the East Bank Esplanade for a quick session on the river before the reception. We trekked our way down to a great spot on the pier and captured some nice moments with the Portland skyline at our backs. Lucky for us the rain stayed away and hardly anyone was on the water. Love it when a plan comes together!

Ever been to the Portland City Grill? After spending the rest of the night with these two newlyweds at their party, I would highly recommend this restaurant for events of any kind. Great service, amazing food, and some of the best views of Portland that this city has to offer!

I had a wonderful time taking pictures with this group and wish all the best for Karen and Ben. As I type they’re enjoying their honeymoon on the beaches of Hawaii. Sounds fun to me! Let’s all give a big congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Sack!!
