Ashley and Cody held their wedding ceremony in the outdoor amphitheater at Skamania Lodge. With the sun already below the tree line, the 7pm ceremony proved to be the best way to beat the Summer heat. The ballroom reception was also an escape from the heat of the great outdoors but had a heat of its own generated by the home made pickles the couple jarred for each guest. The brides family recipe I have to get my hands on!

Powers was great to work with! From the time we first met Ben at Skamania Lodge back in January 2011 till now everything has gone very smoothly.
Laurel was amazing! When I found out she was going to be our photographer I was very excited. She had done weddings at Skamania Lodge before so I knew she would know the perfect areas to shoot. The day went great and she was able to handle all the rowdy groomsmen!
Laurel showed up right on time and went straight to work. She didn’t stop working till the time was up and she was contantly shooting photos. She was easy to work with and new exactly where to shoot.
