Sometimes during an Engagement Session, an inner playlist goes on in my head. Usually it’s a representation of the couple and the vibe I’m feeling coming from them. Maybe it’s because I just heard it two weekends in a row or maybe it’s because it’s an awesome jam and needed to be played internally because it represented April and Andrew and the fun they have together. What song you ask? I know I’m dating myself but ”You make my dreams come true” by Hall and Oates kept popping in my head. When they were walking and doing silly little things together or just sitting there having conversations, this song was their backdrop. Well, in my head…it wasn’t as if I was walking around with a huge boombox held over my head Say Anything style. Oh man….I’m really, really dating myself. Anyways…we had a blast and the photos came out stellar. We started at a super secret photo location in NW Portland then made our way down to Chinatown for a different look. The light was killer and we took full advantage of it. I’m really looking forward to their wedding next fall. Uh oh….Hall’s funky keyboard is creeping into my head again….or is it Oates? Which one is the one with the mustache?
