Andrea & Matthew

I was privy to a lot of things on Andrea and Matthew’s wedding day. In no particular order, rain, thunder, championship kale, the best pies I’ve ever eaten, a bridal party foot race and some chickens and honey bees. Yes…you can have all these ingredients on a perfect wedding day…just ask Andrea and Matthew. Such a cool day to document. We started at Andrea’s childhood home which was freakin sweet. This is where the chickens and honey bees came into play. I do regret not getting a photo of someone holding up a chicken triumphantly but it is what it is. After the first look we proceeded to move about the property. I could probably accurately predict that most of you out there don’t care about light quality and other photo geekery like that but it was totally boss that day. We got some great images at the property then it was time to move the party to the venue down the street. This place was beautiful! Huge trees, and a hill that lead to a breath taking view of the valley below and the mountains above. It was at this place that we got rain and thunder, talks of championship kale were bantered about and really, truly the best pies I’ve ever stuck in my pie hole. Get it…cause there were pies and the reference, with the hole and pie because people talk about that stuff…and…nevermind. This is also where the footrace happened. It wasn’t a joke…they were all hauling….I’m not one to spread rumors but I am suspicious that some of them were juicing. When it comes down to it…this was a great affair. Everyone was happy for the couple and the couple was smiling ear to ear. Even though Andrea’s sister brought a sign that said ”No Crying”, I don’t know if it was emotional specific. So…happy tears are ok, right?
