What a wonderful winter wedding for Andrea and Eric. The Governor Hotel is always a joy to shoot in, however it looked particularly charming with all the holiday decorations up! It was great being a part of the day, their ceremony was held in the Library Room, which provided a warmly lit and intimate setting. In lieu of a unity candle or sand ceremony, Andrea and Eric instead, together, tied a lover’s knot. It’s a tradition dating back to seafaring times, where sailors abroad would send chord back to their lover ashore. Anyway, apparently it is this tradition where we get the wedding phrase of ”tying the knot” from!
