I really enjoyed helping capture Amy and Jim’s very special wedding day. They both looked great together.
As a photographer, I was treated to an unexpected and mind blowing surprise day of. Amy and Jim were given permission from the owner to use the penthouse of The Envoy for photos. It was… amazing. A sweeping view of Portland below, floor to ceiling tall windows. Soaring ceilings and spaces awash in the most gorgeous natural light one could hope for. Amy, Jim and their wedding party were dressed to the nines… and together with the luxurious setting made for some truly memorable photos.
The main ceremony and reception was held at Kell’s Irish pub, which also brought an incredible warmth to the day. It was a wonderful space to shoot in and worked out excellently for Amy and Jim if I do say so.
For their exit, Jim surprised Amy with a rented pedicab to take them to their hotel. Super fun!
Congratulations once again to the both of you, it was a pleasure being part of the day!
