New Years Eve. Is there a bigger party worldwide than New Year’s Eve? I don’t think so. So it’s perfect that couples all across this planet get married on this night. I was excited for Amanda’s and Jeffery’s NYE wedding for sure. It was the last wedding for me in 2012 and I thought there wouldn’t be a better way to celebrate a banner year than a big, huge, party party. I know that this seems weird and please do not tell my dude friends but I kind of dig brides with awesome shoes. It was to my delight that Amanda had awesome red shoes for the evening. I think it makes things more interesting for photos. I met up with the girls at the Paramount Hotel and braved the cold to take some photos across the street at Directors Park. After some epic shots, we made our way to the West End Theater where I met up with a very relaxed, Jeffery. There was talk of possible snow that night which would have been too perfect for the couple. The ceremony sight was decorated beautifully with snow covered trees. I thought they were awesome. Choosing not to see each other before the ceremony, it was go time. I love the anticipation when this happens. The smile on Jeffery’s face was from ear to ear and was the perfect topper for his dress blues. Mike performed an awesome ceremony filled with laughs and love. After the ceremony I got to really see what Jeffery and his guys were all about. They were all in the military and they celebrated their friends union in true military fashion. I think there was a theme to the wedding. It was elegance with a little sizzle. Which I think is a perfect description of New Year’s Eve. Jeffery and Amanda hit it right on the head. The speeches were great, the cake cutting included a sword which was awesome and we lead up to the countdown with a sparkler exit. And so it ended, a banner wedding season was now over. It was a perfect way to end a great wedding season. Much thanks to MJ for all her help during the night. Also, a big thank you to the couple! Congratulations Jeffery and Amanda!
