It was only a few weeks ago that we took some pictures as a wedding warm up session with Christine, Alex, and the family dog. The weather was perfect then, could we capture another beautiful day for the ceremony on top of Council Crest Park? The answer was yes!

Just last week my wife asked what temperature it was, “somewhere in the 60’s” I replied. It was the perfect temp she said, not too hot, not too cold, just your average April afternoon in Portland when the rain stays away. And that’s just how it felt all day for this wedding celebration, thank you sun for shining all afternoon! Along with the weather, the setting at the park was perfect too! Trees were in bloom everywhere, bright and vivid colors were surrounding us at every angle. It was an easy setting for capturing fun photos! Along with plans to take advantage of what mother nature had to offer as a backdrop in the park, we had ideas to use the urban areas around the reception for a few pics as well. This was a unique location that brought out some unique photos, so happy we made a quick stop here between the family sesh and cocktail hour!

And for the late night festivities, Portland Brewing Taproom was a rad destination for a wedding reception. Good brews, good food, and a great staff. And the live music that Chris and Alex selected was the best, everyone had their feet stomping! A big congrats to these two and cheers to their DEBUT as a wedding couple!
