When were you founded ?
Bartholomew Productions, our parent company, was founded in 1995. We purchased Pro DJs Oregon in 2010 from former Z100 DJ, Chris Taylor.
What your company does/specializes in?
Bart Hafeman, our owner, is the lead singer of Hit Machine and we have several bands within our company available, in addition to great DJs.
What sets you apart from other vendors in your category?
We specialize in providing flawless ceremony services. Like many DJs, we can help the party come alive with great music for dancing, but the service you get to make sure the ceremony goes perfectly sets us above the rest.
Why did you get into weddings?
Bart Hafeman, our owner, was becoming an establishing singer and instrumentalist at weddings in the mid-90s. Occasionally people would ask him if he could help DJ the reception. That’s where it started, and we’ve done nothing but grow since then.
What is your favorite part about weddings?
Seeing family & friends come together and share in someone’s special day.
What advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
Make sure your vendors earn their pay. You don’t have to be bridezella in getting the service you deserve.

We have had a few referral clients choose us because they said, “We loved the music at the wedding, the atmosphere was great, and we couldn’t remember anything about the DJ. That’s exactly what we want at our wedding… great music, great atmosphere, without having a DJ that is obnoxious enough to be remembered.
What is your average pricing (or a link to pricing on your site)
Average price is $1095.
What discount do you give to Powers couples?
At least 10%. Often times more if they are purchasing a larger package.

Do you travel outside of PDX for weddings? If so how far and is there a fee?
Yes, we do. We go to the beach, the gorge, and Bend/Sunriver. Mileage is typically around $100.
