Paul and Lauren are married!!! What an incredible 3 days it was working with these two and their amazing family and friends, who traveled from around the world to celebrate with Paul and Lauren!
The Sentinel Hotel hosted the first of the 3 events, for the couple’s Mehndi Party, where family and friends received beautiful and intricate henna designs and performed traditional celebratory dances for the couple. And the food was AMAZING!
Two days later, the couple had a traditional Sikh ceremony. It was an incredible experience watching Lauren and Paul prepare themselves for this part of the ceremony. From riding to the temple on a horse, and the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time in traditional attire. The colors and details of their wedding attire was absolutely stunning and the most detail I have ever seen.
After their traditional ceremony, the couple wanted to take images of the two of them that captured everything they loved about Portland. Over the two days, we utilized the amazing backdrops of Cathedral Park, The Sentinel Hotel, the Portland sign and general area by the Arlene Schnitzer, and the beautiful grounds of the Aerie at Eagle Landing.
The last day of their celebration, Paul and Lauren had a traditional western celebration that took place at the Aerie at Eagle landing. The day was filled with emotion. Most touching was Lauren’s mother and father officiating the ceremony. And of course the couple’s beloved dog, Mr. Loki, delivering the rings to the couple before the exchange.
It was such a privilege to take part of such an amazing wedding with an amazing couple. Congrats Lauren and Paul!!!
