I am so happy Linda and Kyle found one another. It was their faith that brought them together, meeting at church, and was so wonderful to see how happy they make one another. It’s so cool to see the positive energy they create — it just makes everyone else around them happy and have a good time too. I loved what they did with the garden grove next to the church for the reception. Those cafe lights and uplighting on the trees were awesome. Pair this with a live band and you had the makes for a truly awesome party that lasted well into the evening after dark.
As an aside, the big nerdy side of me was very happy that both Linda and Kyle included references to Avatar: The Last Airbender in their attire. Kyle and his groomsmen each had cufflinks reflecting one of the four elemental nations (Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads). While Linda had element emblems incorporated into her garters. Their faces and reactions when they showed one another their Avatar references — it was delightful, reaffirming once again that they really are perfect for each other.
For portraits, we did a quick trip over to nearby Cathedral park. We had perfect timing for light and I am SO happy with those shots. It provided a really nice little break too for these two before heading back for dinner and the reception.
Again, such a fun time. Congratulations again you two, it was such an honor to be the one to help capture your wedding day!
